Privacy Policy

In accordance with Quebec's Law 25, the person in charge of the protection of personal information at Colis Expert is the Director of Operations, who can be reached by email at info@colis-expert.ca, by phone at 1-877-380-2092 or by mail at 41 route Maritime, Baie-Comeau, Quebec G4Z 2L6.

• Account: name, email address, phone number and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier.
• Shipments: pickup and delivery addresses, contact persons, description, weight and dimensions of parcels.
• Payment: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Forms: the content of messages sent through the contact and careers forms.
• Technical data: IP address and browser information, used for security and spam prevention.

To prepare your quotes, process your orders and payments, make deliveries, send tracking notices and invoices, answer your requests, protect the platform against fraud and meet our legal and tax obligations. We never sell your personal information.

We only share what is necessary with:

• Stripe: card payment processing;
• Google: Sign in with Google and, if you consent, audience measurement (Google Analytics);
• Cloudflare: anti-bot protection on forms (Turnstile);
• our email provider and our host, to send notices and store platform data.

Some of these providers may store data outside Quebec. We make sure they offer adequate protection of your information.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure our forms. Audience measurement cookies are only used when Google Analytics is enabled; you can refuse or delete them in your browser settings.

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the period required by tax laws (generally six years). Data that is no longer needed is destroyed or anonymized.

You can request access to, correction, deletion or portability of your information, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@colis-expert.ca. We reply within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Traffic with the site is encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed and access to data is limited to employees who need it. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information.
